Development of Critical Thinking via Writing and Reading

The study is aimed to determine the ability of students think critically while reading and writing. teaching methodology included preparation texts reports their by 8th grade develop writing skills in English, development critical thinking. Methods quantitative analysis, descriptive statistics, survey-test, Student's t-test were used. involved a teacher researcher (English teacher), 42 eighth graders. To collect data, assessment educational achievements, analysis documents examination (preliminary post-test) carried out. was out three stages: planning, execution, monitoring reflection main stages this study. research base Nazarbayev Intellectual School Physics Mathematics Shymkent.
